What it is. Healthy skin is naturally mildly acidic, at a pH of roughly 4.7 to 5.75, often called the acid mantle. Many vitamin C serums and exfoliating acids are formulated well below that, which is one reason they can sting.
why it matters
A formula close to the skin's own pH tends to feel more comfortable. It also makes it easier to use two serums in one routine: Encap C+ in the morning and Encap S+ at night.
how Enclir uses it
Both Encap S+ and Encap C+ are formulated at pH 5.5. Encapsulation means the actives don't need a harsh, low pH to do their job.
