Vitamin C (encapsulated)
What it is. L-ascorbic acid, the active form of vitamin C. It drives collagen synthesis, brightens uneven tone, and neutralises free radicals. It is also one of the most unstable molecules in skincare, oxidising in water, light, and air.
why encapsulation changes it
Free vitamin C largely oxidises before it reaches the collagen layer, which is why brands raise the percentage. Encapsulated vitamin C is shielded from oxidation, carried past the barrier, and released gradually where fibroblasts build collagen. In tissue measurement that is 146% greater vitamin C in skin versus the same active applied free, and no sting on the way in.
how Enclir uses it
The primary active in Encap C+, paired with bakuchiol. Why percentage is not the point.
